Cake shakes are a way of inflating to a large size without committing to an enema or stuffing. The idea is that you mix some boxed cake mix with milk to make a shake, then drink it. Then you chase it down with water. Several hours later (like 7 or 8 hours), you will start to slowly expand. There are several misconceptions about how they work, to the point some people think you need to use Betty Crocker yellow cake mix specifically. That's not true, it can be used with any type of cake mix. I will go into how it basically works, so that we all know how to better exploit the chemistry here. I divided a separate section on ideas for improving cake shakes as a means of inflation, so if you don't care about the science, you can skip ahead to there. The way a cake rises is thanks to the leavener- baking soda or baking powder, depending on the ingredients. The reaction caused by the leavener releases carbon dioxide, which makes the cake rise. I will make a return eventually. Parents moved to a smaller house with only two bedrooms so I am having to share one with my little brother. Which means I do not have any space or a place to properly work on art. I am sorry. I will be back one day with some new art. Sorry that I have been pretty much absent.
